There is always the temptation, when appointments or commitments are cancelled, to fill the time with other things. I know I can’t, even though my head is always full of great ideas. My body is screaming at me. I have to listen to it.
There is something strangely calming about putting on the kettle, taking out a pretty china cup or mug, anticipating sitting in a comfy chair, and slowly sipping this hot delight.
It’s 2.30 am, and I’m writing a blog post. I must be mad. I should be enjoying a good dream at this time of the early morning.
