I didn’t realise how much resilience and courage I would need to publish my memoirs and even just to blog about my chronic illness journey. I knew I wanted to share my story to help others, but to do so really does make you vulnerable.
As a writer, it’s a question I constantly ask myself. How much is too much? I always want to find the balance between sharing just enough about my own chronic illness/life experiences, so I can connect with my readers, however I don’t want my story to come across as needing a response or to concern people.
In 2024, I'll be cutting back and just publishing a blog post when I feel passionate about a topic or need to give an update on significant life events. I'll maybe publish a podcast every few months, but no promises
