Hi Everyone, I know not all my blog followers are podcast fans, but I wanted to share my latest episode with you as it is an extension of my previous blog post, "Pausing to Ponder." In this latest podcast episode, I share my recent complex health update with details not in my blog post.
I'm catching my breath with a cuppa to pause and ponder. So much has been going on in recent months. New diagnoses, flares of old diagnoses, my husband dealing with his own health battle, including a trip to ER and hospital admission, and the list goes on.
Everything I've experienced now makes so much sense. I now know why, and for some reason, that knowledge removes its power over me. It's part of me rather than being something attacking me from nowhere.
What we often need is just someone standing with us while we wait. Not to tell us what to think or feel, just someone to show genuine care and understanding of our needs.
How often do you tell yourself , "I should be doing such and such” or ” I’d better do this or that” ? We all do it. I choose to be happy despite the cross of chronic illness. In fact, I have found I can be joyful because of my chronic illness!!

Looking through the window from the outside lane, you'd be hard pressed not to think it was a quaint "Victorian scene." Even a Christmas card painting it would seem. Look a little closer and peek further inside. A slightly different image from the perfect home may be disguised.
A True Christmas Can Never Be Cancelled But It Can Be Different
