Hi Everyone,
I’m just popping in with another Christmas blog post.
It’s only 8 sleeps until Christmas Day, and it’s only 5.30 am in the morning as I write this post.
I’m really struggling with pain, and my disease has progressed to include “Frozen Shoulder,” leaving me with paralysed legs and arms.
I have been stretching myself a little too much with beautiful family visits, entertaining friends for morning or afternoon tea, decorating our home for Christmas with lots of help from carers, celebrating our anniversary, and caring for Peter who has progressive Alzhiemers Disease.
Evening having carers twice a day is exhausting as well as twice weekly nurse visits, OT visits, and coordination of Peter’s health care needs.
My unstable spine is literally spinning off it’s axil and I am not exaggerating. I am holding onto anything for dear life to prevent myself from collapsing as I try and move from bed to walker and room to room. This is what has caused the collapse of my arms and frozen shoulder.
Anyway, I am still enjoying this amazing time of the year. It’s just my favourite!
This post is all about my Christmas musings during December last year as I realised I had written and shared more than I usually do and just haven’t had the time or energy this year.
I’ve been watching a few vloggers on YouTube who I follow throughout the year. I have 5 favourites, and each is doing a “vlogmas,” which basically means extra vlogs during the lead up to Christmas with a Christmas theme.
I realised I’ve done just that with my blog and have created my very own “blogmas”! So I thought I’d share them with you all in this one post, so if you like, you can dip in and out and enjoy reading my Christmas themed musings.
Before I share the blogmas links, here’s the links to my favourite Vloggers if you’d like to check them out, and perhaps give them a like!
